All schools and groups are welcome to take part in the valuable experience. Taipei MRT receives more than 1.5 million passengers every day, everybody trusts and recognizes the safety of the MRT system. However, for preparation for danger in peacetime, TRTC wishes to mitigate panic and hazards in the event of an accident by way of educational drills. The Evacuation Experience Center provides visitors with hands-on operations of emergency facilities in MRT station and tunnel, for people to become familiar with safety devices in the MRT system, with the expectation that this can prevent hazards in advance, lowering incident injuries to a minimum.
